US-based Colorpro, the West Coast“s predominant designer and manufacturer of decorative architectural glass, announced recently that it has completed the installation of decorative architectural glass at the newly renovated American Airlines terminal at Los Angeles International Airport. Philip Vourvoulis, creative director at Colorpro, in association with artist and architect Susan Narduli, developed innovative glass for her artwork, titled “The Wonders of the Heavens and Flying”, which embraces and celebrates the spirit of flight. In addition to developing glass products for Narduli, Colorpro worked with architects Rivers & Christian, the firm responsible for the design and structural elements of the terminal renovation. Vourvoulis declared that the glass installation at Los Angeles Airport is the most comprehensive example of what the company is capable of doing and is one of its largest decorative glass projects ever completed.
