The Qingdao Jinjing Co. Ltd., the largest glass processing base in China, has gone on stream in the Qingdao Economic and technological Development Zone in East China“s Shandong Province. With a total investment of US$ 400 million, the company boasts twenty-three production lines and thirty-one sets of equipment imported from eleven countries and regions such as Germany, Japan, the US, Italy, Britain and Switzerland. According to a report, the designed annual production capacity of the company is 10 million square metres of glass, including coated glass, reinforced glass, sandwich glass, hollow glass, bullet-proof glass and silk screen glass. The production of LLVD coated glass ended China“s reliance on import for the products, the report said.
