The China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association has announced that it intends to resume construction of a USD 20 million glass manufacturing plant in Kadoma, Mashonaland West, Zimbabwe. The project was previously started in 2003, and was abandoned due to hyperinflation. Company vice director Wang Changlin said that the company had invested USD 13 million into the project until now, which is expected to employ 200 people. The next step is for us to ship equipment into Zimbabwe and then commence production of glass, Changlin said.
