Sri Lanka“s main manufacturer of glass packing containers and bottles reported a turnover of SLRs 486.961 million in 1997 compared to 484.999 in 1996. Net profits and profits before tax were down at SLRs 22.072 million versus SLRs 55.089 million in the same period a year earlier.
