Italian glassware company Calp is expecting to achieve a consolidated turnover of ItL 182 billion in 1999 (11.54% more than last year) and net profits of ItL 14 billion (up 21.43%). Managing director Mauro Faneschi said turnover is expected to rise to ItL 191 billion in 2000 and to ItL 206 billion in 2001, with net profit reaching ItL 17 billion and then ItL 19 billion in the two years respectively. The company is the fourth-largest producer of crystal/glass in the world, and the leader in Italy, with 95% in volume terms and 90% in terms of value.
