The Italian group, Bormioli Rocco, specialists in the manufacture of bottles for the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry, has acquired 20,000 square metres of supplementary land for the installation of new furnaces at its Saint-Sulpice site in France. The Italian group which two years ago moved to the Tarnaise region of France to be closer to its principal client, Pierre Fabre, the French pharmaceutical group, is also planning to install laboratories at the same site. With 41 personnel, the site is looking for an increase of turnover in 2001, that should reach Ffr 60 million.
