In a recent press release from the organizers of the Big 5 Show, due to be held this year from 15-19 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, it was reported that many of the major players in the global construction industry have already signed up. They lead around 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers from more than 50 countries, including fifteen National Pavilions, who will exhibit at the Big 5 Show 2000. Five major product areas are featured under the Big 5 roof. They are Building & Construction, Water Technology & Environment, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Cleaning & Maintenance, and Glass & Metal. A special section at the Big 5 2000 is reserved for Bathroom & Ceramics. According to the organizers, the Big 5 Show in Dubai has been the annual showcase for international and local suppliers to the booming construction markets in the Gulf countries and the Middle East, for many years. This year“s edition of the show will feature at least 15 National Pavilions: from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Kingdom, and new Pavilions this year from Slovakia, Switzerland and Turkey. They will be exhibiting alongside some of the most prominent stands in the show where the major contractors, importers and distributors from the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries will exhibit their latest products and high quality services.
