Thanks to the latest development from Beatson Clark, clients are, says the UK glassmaker, guaranteed even more assurance of high quality products. Thanks to a continuous plan of investments and improvements, Beatson is now extending the use of Ultra Violet Inkjet Coding equipment to all production lines. Philip Lamb, head of quality at Beatson Clark, commented: Through our business strategy of continual improvements, this is the next phase to make certain our quality assurance is second to none. The new equipment will ensure every container has the date and time placed on it, which will mean we have 100% traceability back to each and every container manufactured.” “The key benefit of using the Markem Imaje Inkjet coder is that it uses Ultra Violet ink which is not seen by the naked eye. Therefore this coding will not interfere with a customer“s own coding and can be placed anywhere on the container from the shoulder to the foot even where the label is to be applied. UK-based Markem Imaje will complete installation of this new state-of-the-art equipment by the end of July.
