One of the UK“s leading manufacturers of fire resistant products has completed a EUR 1 million atrium project at an Irish office development. Baydale Architectural Systems, a producer of fire resistant doors, screens and specialist glazed products, worked on the Beaux Lane House building in Dublin. Baydale, based in County Durham in northern England, installed a fire resistant, internal glazed atrium from its Dreadnought FY10 range, which gives up to 60 minutes fire resistance. Jon Smith, managing director, said: “The Beaux Lane House contract was a major win for us, significantly boosting turnover and adding yet another highly prestigious project to our ever growing portfolio.” The contract follows the company“s previous work to supply fire resistant doors and windows worth GBP 130,000 at the National Gallery of Ireland, and GBP 280,000 at the National Museum of Scotland.
