Portuguese glass producer Barbosa e Almeida Vidro, or BA Vidro, will reportedly become a minority shareholder in Spanish chemicals group La Seda de Barcelona SA. According to a press release dated 28 September 2009, La Seda is expected to announce the entrance of BA Vidro in its capital, by means of a EUR 150 million capital hike, very soon. Other shareholders of La Seda“s already include Portugal“s state-owned bank Caixa Geral de Depositos (CGD) and holding company Imatosgil.
