9 April 1998: Avery Dennison Fasson Roll Europe has launched a new flame-resistant label stock, which it says “meets all the relevant criteria on combustibility”. Fasson Flame-Retardant, a white semi-gloss paper with “high-tack” emulsion-based adhesive, is aimed in particular at the electronics and automobile markets. Conforming with flame resistance regulations, the adhesive has been certified for use in direct contact with food.
