The National Glass Association (NGA) and Trident Technical College (TTC) were honoured by the South Carolina Association for Continuing Higher Education. The Automotive Glass Technical Institute (AGTI) at TTC was recognized with the 2005 Outstanding Continuing Education Cooperative Program award. AGTI is the nation“s premier training programme for auto glass replacement and repair. Since 1996, the programme has helped drive the expertise of technicians across the United States in advancing safe and proper techniques in the removal, replacement, and repair of windshields. Guided by NGA Master certified Auto Glass Technicians, students get hands on practice with all aspects of windshield replacement and repair while using the latest tools, supplies, and techniques. Founded in 1948, the National Glass Association is the largest trade association representing the entire flat glass industry. Based outside Washington, DC, NGA offers certification, education, and training and serves the industry with the leading trade publications-Glass Magazine, Window & Door, and AutoGlass.
