Asahi plans to start production in the Leningrad region by the end of 2007, vice-president of AGC Automotive Europe Masashi Kodo said in mid-January 2007. According to Kodo, Asahi will produce rubber or plastic edging for car glass to supply the Toyota St Petersburg plant, as well as other motors works.
