Automotive and construction glass maker Asahi India posted a loss of INR 213.4 million in the 3Q ended December 2008 compared to a net loss of INR 31.5 million for the previous corresponding quarter. The company attributed the increase in losses to currency fluctuation and higher raw material costs.
