Asahi India Glass Ltd. informed the Stock Exchange, Mumbai that at the meeting of its board of directors on 30 October 2004 two changes to the directorship were approved. Mr. Pierre Kirschen, a nominee of M/s Asahi Glass Company Ltd., takes the place of Mr. K Yonamato, who has since resigned, while Mr. K Miyazawa, designated as Technical Director of the Company, joins the Remuneration Committee.
