Patrick Gournay, chairman of the board of French glass maker Arc International, has stepped down. He will be temporarily replaced by Guillaume de Fougieres, who is the company“s CEO for Europe. The company did not reveal the reasons for Mr. Gournay“s departure. The firm has recently reorganised its shareholder structure and returned to the black in 2008. Its annual operating profit is just below EUR 10 million while its revenue totals EUR 1.5 billion. Arc International, with a total workforce of 15,000, is planning job cuts in France in order to fund its international expansion.
