Anadolu Cam Sanayi announced at the end of April that the furnace of the beer bottle manufacturing facility in the region of Vladimir in Russia had become operational as of 25 April. An investment of US$ 26 million was made in the factory, which will produce 90,000 tons of bottle per year, equal to 300,000 units. Lafarge Aslan makes US$ 8.8 million of exports in 2001.
