Pacifica Group Ltd., an automotive parts company, said on 29 April that it has appointed Anthony Clarke as finance director. Clarke, who is 44, is group general manager of finance with packaging company Amcor Ltd. and plans to take up his new post as of 11 June. He replaces Jim Cook, who announced in January his intention to retire. Amcor lost its chief financial officer David Meiklejohn in 2000 when it split off its paper operations into a separate company, PaperlinX Ltd. Meiklejohn became chairman of PaperLinx and was replaced at Amcor by Louis Lachal.
