13 November 1997: Ambiente, the German consumer goods trade fair will take place from 14-18 February 1998 in Frankfurt, Germany. The exhibition features glass, ceramics, arts and crafts, and home interior products. The last edition attracted 5,000 exhibitors from more than 80 countries and was attended by 120,000 visitors. The show is broken down into sections, among them Prasent & Carat, where retailers can find arts and crafts products, design-oriented gifts, jewellery and consumer goods from developing countries. The Domus & Lumina section includes various home interiors products such as small and individual pieces of furniture, home accessories, ironware, home textiles and pictures.
