Zamil Industrial Investment Company recently went public with a listing on the Saudi stock market. The airconditioning, glass and steel manufacturer has a capitalisation of US$ 80 million and exports 40% of sales which totalled US$ 338 million in 2000. Hamad Abdullah Al Zamil and Brothers Company retains a 60% stake and 40% has been placed with investors in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
