Paul Huck, CFO, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. was given the Chemical Week CFO of the Year Award at the 14th Annual CFO Conference in New York City on 16 June 2009. Chemical Week“s CFO of the Year Award was set up in 2001 to recognize and honour the best financial leadership in the chemical industry. This award is given each year to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution by means of vision and leadership, corporate reporting and performance, social responsibility, innovation, and global competitiveness. I am delighted to receive this honour from Chemical Week, which is a reflection of my entire team“s dedication and passion to deliver value for Air Products“ shareholders, Huck said. Huck was chosen as the 2009 CFO of the Year as per a survey of Chemical Week editors and industry analysts for the quality of investor communication on business conditions and Air Products“ operations, as well as maintaining excellence in Air Products“ financial conditions and capital structure, particularly in difficult period. “Chemical Week is honoured to present this award to a deserving recipient in these difficult industry times.
