As part of a major growth strategy, AGR, the US-based supplier of container inspection technology for the world-wide glass, plastic and pharmaceutical packaging industries, has announced changes in its corporate structure. It was announced in a company press release that Henry Dimmick Jr. has been named CEO. He will hold this position in addition to his current role as chairman of the board of directors. Dimmick previously held the position of vice president of sales at AGR and has over 20 years experience in the glass and packaging industry. In addition it was reported that Robert Cowden has been named vice president of sales and service. Mr. Cowden joined AGR in 1994 and formerly held the position of director of sales and service where his responsibilities included customer service, applications engineering and plastic inspection equipment sales. Over the previous ten years, prior to joining AGR, Mr. Cowden performed several marketing and financial management roles for Abbott Laboratories and Deloitte & Touche.
