For the first time in the history of the glass industry, Pennekamp is offering Full HYBRID lehrs (gas and electric heating in one lehr).
These Hybrid lehrs are being controlled by PLC via sophisticated Software to guarantee the highest energy efficiency.
A newly developed Electric Heating System (ConveX E)allows for installing them on the lehr’s roof (as shown in above picture), while keeping the side burners operable at the Lehr’s side-wall.
