13 May 1999: A new company for the construction of machinery and plants for glass production, EuroGlassMachinery, was set up in Verona, Italy this month. In a recent press release, the company announced that it will be specializing in automatic and semi-automatic machines for hollow glass. The company also provides maintenance and technological modernization of equipment both in Italy and abroad. EuroGlassMachinery has two sister companies in the metalworking industry. With its modern technical department, and through the use of new generation CAD-CAM software, the company says it is able to develop projects from scratch, or to produce spare parts for hollow glass machines. The technical side of the company will be managed by Mr. Renato Trotta, while Mr. Ciro Trotta has been appointed as technical consultant. The company says that the combination of the Trottas“ experience in the glass industry and the metalworking expertise of its sister companies allow it to offer its clients reliability, quality and value for money.
