Glass partitions are ever more frequently used in interior decoration. The quality of the glass used is fundamental – only tempered glass is used to safeguard the family members against possible injury if the glass is broken, LandGlass gives us some ideas of how its furnaces can produced this type of glass.

Nowadays great attention is paid to home decor and interior design due to its being closely related to the quality of life. Glass, as a decorating material, is preferred by many people, especially with regards to glass partitions. Glass partitions can, in fact, divide the different areas of homes based on people’s preferences. Besides, because of the high transparency of the glass, the housing space divided by glass partitions will not appear to be isolated or unfamiliar and the glass partition can make the compartment seem larger.
At the same time, some people are worried about the possible damage to family members the glass may bring when it breaks. Theses fears are, however, pretty much misplaced. The glass used for glass partitions is tempered glass that is thicker than 8mm. Such kind of tempered glass is strong enough to bear the force exerted by a human body. Moreover, tempered glass will crumble into small granular pieces and does not splinter into jagged fragments when broken, and is thus less likely to cause injury.
Since glass partitions made of tempered glass now play an important role in home decor and interior design, we have to pay great attention to the quality of the tempered glass used if we want to achieve the maximum impact.
