  Mirror technology

GANA now has a new bulletin on its website. The 'Green Aspects of Mirror" as it is called, is available for free download, and highlights the environmentally friendly aspects of mirror as a key aspect of its versatility.

GANA's new bulletin focuses on the recyclability of mirror products
The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has released a new Glass Informational Bulletin (GIB) available for download free of charge on its website. The GIB, titled Green Aspects of Mirror - The Reusability and Recyclability of Mirror Products, focuses on how easily mirrors can be recycled into inventive design products, a fundamental tenant of the green movement.
"Mirror has been a great design tool for the past century," says Jim Ventre, GANA Mirror Division Chair, in the release. "Over the past two decades, though, it has become even more valuable in its ease of recyclability into other home uses. This Informational Bulletin highlights the environmentally friendly aspects of mirror as a key aspect of its versatility. Designers and architects will find this free document thought-provoking and informative, and a great tool in the green movement."
The GIB also addresses the environmentally conscious aspects of the mirror manufacturing process.
