Zignago Vetro has announced that work will be carried out on two of its furnaces this October and in April 2015, enabling the company to keep up with the present national market situation, increasing competitiveness and excellence at national level.
The aim of the rebuilds is to enable the production unit to keep up with the present national market situation, increase competitiveness and excellence at national level with investments of EUR 100 million.
Giacobbo had already spoken about this in a press conference in September 2013, when he discussed the activities of the Empoli-based group that employs 220 people.
“Furnaces have an average life span of 12 years and have already reached the peak of their productivity. And this is why Zignago is now making this important investment, focussing on Empoli as a strategic pole for Central Italy.”
