Vertmax represents Intermac’s response to market requests over the last few years. The machine was presented for the first time at glasstec 2012 and was met with immediate interest by the many visitors of the fair.

Extreme flexibility
Vertmax is the ideal machine for companies facing today’s uncertain and shifting market. By adding Vertmax in a glass workshop fleet of machines, glassmakers get a powerful tool for the production of furniture elements, glass doors, showers, but also large format structural glass, parapets and refrigerated counters. The vertical construction of the machine enables maximum flexibility in terms of workable dimensions (from 300x500 millimetres up to 2600x5000 millimetres).
Vertmax can execute the operations of grinding to measure, polishing, arising, drilling, milling on small pieces and large architectural windows, rectangular or shaped, granting high finishing quality and productivity, easily shifting from monolithic to laminated glass. The only requirement of the machine is the presence of a straight edge on the piece.

A new approach to machining programming
Entirely developed in-house, the management software of the machine is among the most convincing features of Vertmax and is destined to cause an authentic revolution among users of NC machinery.
This innovative software changes the logic to which we are accustomed. The machine operator can now draw a piece, without considering the machining operations needed to achieve the final result; the ma...
