Eurotech Way: simplicity and functionality in safeguarding and guaranteeing roller integrity

One of the most difficult areas of a flat glass manufacturing plant is the tempering furnace, where the glass is subject to heat treatment to increase its strength and resistance. In this article, Eurotech Way presents its most recent development, designed for the automatic cleaning of the rollers of the tempering furnace. Called ACRM, it can manage more and different kinds of furnaces, storing all working parameters for each one in the related recipes.

ACRM – automatic cleaning for tempering furnace rollers

Main working features
The new fully automatic ACRM machine for the cleaning and polishing of rollers represents the most practical, safe, and guaranteed system for the cleaning, polishing and dusting of fused silica rollers for glass tempering furnaces.
Positioned at the beginning of the area to be cleaned, and inside the furnace, the machine is realized to work simultaneously on two rollers; the cleaning head is equipped with an automatic levelling and compensation system, so as to maintain adjustable and constant pressure over the entire surface of rollers with any kind of tool.
