Mappi International: technological solutions respecting the environment
Flat glass tempering plants, especially those for glass laminating and furnaces designed for bending and tempering, are complex machines that Mappi International turns into solutions with extremely ease of use and able to ensure minimum environmental impact. And precisely these characteristics have enable this Italian company, based at Cisterna di Latina, near Rome, to have an important position in the worldwide market at small- mediumand large-sized glassworks. In fact, Mappi International’s plants are characterized by their reliability and production quality thanks to the commitment and choice of the company’s management, aimed at the constant technological research and development of its products. The company’s in-house technical office takes care of the R&D sector with a staff of experts who use Cad/Cam Soliwork and follow in detail all new projects and updates regarding operational programmes of furnaces already up and working. The added value of ease of use and maintenance are easily seen since Mappi International’s furnaces are the only ones to have a heating chamber with side opening, giving easy and complete access to internal components. This is such a highly appreciated characteristic that, at present, there are more than 200 Mappi International furnaces up and running, thus demonstrating the high productive capacity reached by the company, which, among other features, has always paid great attention to energy savings.
