Bavelloni has made it easier for designers to create distinctive and unique images in glass with the help of a new computer programme called CUT Vinyl software. Thanks to this new software, glass manufacturers can enable their clients – architects, interior designers, house builders and homeowners – to give free reign to their artistic imagination. Any good quality photographic image can be reproduced on glass by the software. Glass manufacturers can also get the most out of their cutting table investments thanks to this versatile software system. No investment in additional plotters is required and the software can be used on processed glass of all sizes. This makes CUT Vinyl an economic and efficient way of turning an ordinary glass sheet into an artistic image that can be looked at, admired and appreciated, rather than through.

FIVE SIMPLE STEPS
The software involves five simple steps, and Bavelloni ensures that anyone can create decorative effects:
• Step 1 is simply to choose a good resolution photograph. Obviously, the high definition of the image will help give a better final result.
• Step 2 is to scan in the image and let the CUT Vinyl software convert it into the format needed for scanning. Essentially, the image is transformed into a series of alternating lines.
