Commersald Impianti: further developments and growth in production, size and technology

During glasstec, Glass Machinery Plants & Accessories had the possibility to see one of the most recent developments of Commersald Impianti - the Robo 600H. We spoke to one of the company’s technicians to get detailed information on how it works and how it can improve and facilitate operators working-life and job, while increasing productivity and quality, reducing dead times too.

Commersald Impianti is a leader in the production of welding machines, welding plants and complementary welding products based on PTA (Plasma Transferred Arc) process.
Set up as a branch of Commersald at the end of the 1990s, it has since grown to become an in-house manufacturer of machinery design to software programming, and ending off with the installation of the plants it manufactures at clients’ workshops.
The company was present at glasstec with its most recent development – the Robo 600H, and we spoke to one of the company’s technicians - Marco Bonacini - to get an insider’s view and information on this NC machine.

The last time we visited Commersald – in 2007, we saw the predecessor of this machine – the Robo 60, what are the differences between that machine and this new one – the Robo 600H?

The main difference regards the new Numerical Control which, on this new type of machine, is no longer the standard version produced in Italy, but is now produced by Mitsubishi. The standard version is still, of course, available for our regular clients that want to maintain the same type of NC on all their machines or also for new clients who are already familiar with this standard NC.
The new Mitsubishi NC was chosen as it is easily available worldwide and is already used on many tooling machines, thus providing a further guarantee of assistance.
