2012-08-06 | Processing

Abratech has been specialized in the manufacture of glass processing tools since the end of the 1990s. Thanks to a complete reorganization, as well as to the more than 20 years’ experience in the sector and considerable knowledge of the most advanced technologies for glass processing, the company continues to concentrate on development and growth, working with domestic and international markets with an ever wider range of products and services.

The most recent development from Abratech is its new cup wheels
New cup wheels
Thanks to its many years of specialization in the production of polishing wheels, Abratech is continuously involved in the research and development of new and more performing products to offer its customers the best in terms of quality and yield.
The most recent development from Abratech is its new cup wheels for the polishing of edges with straight-line and double-edger machines.

Smart S 40/60/80/120
The Smart S 40/60/80/120 range of wheels has a special bond able to work with high working pressure and temperature. Another important feature of this new range is that of more cutting and abrasive power to polish all types of glass, with particular high performance on laminated and high thickness glass. Available in 40, 60, 80 and 120 grit sizes.

Smart Plus S

The new cerium cup wheel, Smart Plus S, has a highly-performing special bond in terms of quality and life on straight line and double-edging machines.
This cup wheel has a new bond and plate able to achieve brilliant polishing at both 1,400 and 2,800 RPM with lower working pressure and longer life of the tool.

Other products
Abratech is also continuously developing the other tools of its complete range. A further improvement from this Pesaro-based company is the line of wheels for the removal of low-E glass and the new bond for small diameter wheels - MITO - used to polish the small internal radius and ensuring long working life and quality.
