INTRODUCTION
With the expansion of its R&D activities and the commitment to satisfy its clients’ needs, Bottero has now introduced new methodology and tools to further enhance the performance, quality and long working life of its products.
Structural and fluid dynamic simulation offers clients competitive features through a combination of technological innovation, product performance and the integration of innovative solutions. Marcello Ostorero, head of Internal Simulations in the Research & Development department, spoke to us about innovative simulation methods that are being carried out on a number of products that have brought Bottero a leading edge in the market.
Why has Bottero introduced structural and fluid dynamic simulation as part of its product development process?
Dynamic simulations have been introduced to share knowledge and resources within the Bottero Group: defining validation rules in cooperation with designers, experts and product users, for problem solving and the development of new products. Structural and fluid dynamic simulations are currently among the most important innovations introduced in new product development and for the consolidation of existing products.
