2012-02-09 | Building applications

An iconic landmark, this is the description given to the “HQ Building Abu Dhabi” thanks to its truly unconventional shape. This area is currently undergoing serious development, with a project for offices, hotels, commerce, residential and leisure facilities at Al Raha Beach. The building, developed in accordance with the requirements of the U.S. Green Building Council Assessment System LEED, covers a total gross floor area of 61,900 square meters, and has a diameter of 120.9 meters and a depth of 36.4 meters in the centre, and 10 meters at the edge.

One part is being used as the headquarters of Aldar, Abu Dhabi’s largest property developer; the remaining space will be leased and offers users the full range of fixtures and fittings under the international category A for office buildings, including a prayer room, restaurants, a fitness room and small retail shops.
