Vidromecanica: combining annealing and tempering for energy savings

In manufacturing hollow glass items, there is always the risk of failure, especially with regards to tensile stress. When increased tensile strength glass is required, one of the most frequent methods used is thermal tempering, carried out by the machinery presented in this article, even combined equipment that can both anneal and toughen/temper the glass articles.
