2013-06-06 | Cullet treatment

IIT, formed in March 2006, is a technology development company specializing in the design, precision engineering and manufacture of a range of high output powder mills, classifiers and cyclones from a state-of-the-art factory in North East England. In this article, the company provides us with information on its most recent development – the m-series – which is, it says, a highly compact solution for fine powder grinding.

IIT's m-series patented low energy milling equipment
IIT Ltd. (International Innovative Technologies) is a technology development company which was formed bringing together its founders with the expertise and resources of the former North East Innovation Centre (NEIC) which had 25 successful years in new engineering product design‚ process development and manufacturing systems. The company specializes in the design, precision engineering and manufacture of a range of high output powder mills, classifiers and cyclones from a state-of-the-art factory in North East England.
IIT’s m-series milling technology is highly energy efficient compared with traditional milling processes such as ball mills and jet milling, which are cumbersome, power hungry and take up valuable space.
The m-series range provides a highly compact solution for fine powder grinding that can be easily integrated into existing infrastructure.
The team at IIT Ltd. and its partners have made significant advances in milling technology and milling process innovation, moving powder milling away from traditional drum, hammer and impact mills and crushers, to compact sized, high output, that are both economical to build into existing processes and highly versatile for a range of industries.

Advanced powder milling machines; complete process solutions

IIT’s innovations have opened up entirely new market opportunities for a range of commercial enterprises from recycling, construction, mineral and many more. Indeed, wherever the requirement for milling is foremost, IIT te...
