I have lost an item that I bought from Tickled Pink in Portland, OR in 1990. It was a tiny clear glass vial, approximately one inch tall with a gold tone screw lid. It was curved convex on one side and curved concave on the other. The gift shop owner told me it was designed to contain fragrence, to be worn inside a bra, for touch-ups. We are facing a problem on wall mirrors and glass separators (shower areas)in a prestigious hotel guest bathrooms. The problem looks like calcium deposit stains resembling a "honeycomb" effect. i.e. the edges of the stain are visible but nothing appears in the centre. We have tried our own inhibited phosphoric acid which would normally indicate the presence of calcium by turning white and foaming upon contact. There is no reaction at all and evebn using a white nylon scouring pad has no apparrant effect. The glass is normal silicate float glass and we are now wondering if the stain is a result of some type of etching. The only other suspicion we have is that the "stain" is actually inside the glass and maybe a type of degeneration/breakdown internally. Can you please advise?

Does anyone have any information on a plate made by himark giftware; it has 24k gold trim, white background with a picture of flowers with a humming bird.(it also has gold trim around the picture of flowers/bird. I am the European distributor for a product produced in Australia. It is sold in the standard "cobalt blue" bottles, both atomisers (50ml/200ml) and eyedrop bottles.
