I am trying to find out the manufacturer of ruby stemmed goblets and wine glasses. They are very heavy and thick glass which look like the Georgian pattern. The underside of the base is slightly bubbles (rounded hobnails) in nature and there are no markings. These were purchased new in the 70's or 80's and are no longer available new. Do you have any idea who would have manufactured them during that era? My guess at this point would be Viking, but someone thought Fenton. Or Fostoria? Any ideas you could give me would be appreciated.

I would like to know that if the pressure in a soda bottle,filled at 90 psi, increases due to vibration(as in, transportation.If so, why? The bottle is filled and capped. but does pressure actually increase due to vibration? My understanding says that since the soda is filled and capped, the pressure inside should remain the same.how does this pressure affect the bottle in the following situations:
1. heat of 40-45 degrees Celcius?
2. Vibrations.
3 both factors combined?
Can anyone please tell me so as to improve my knowledge?

I mail from Spain you because I have now a problem and I«m sure that you can help me. I«m looking for suppliers of optical glass for decoration and gift articles. There are so many glass producers in Spain. All of them use an old and craft method, they take fuse glass mass from the furnace and put this mass in a mould. After mass is solid they polish the block. With this type of work it«s possible to get different designs depending of the mould. But this type of glass (called art glass ?) has imperfections inside, it«s not 100% uniform, there are bubbles inside and some little lines called strings in Spain.
The glass I need is optical glass but I don«t find suppliers. I think that this optical glass is made in big blocks, and after is cutted in smaller blocks to produce prisms, pyramids, cubes and other forms. I need this type of blocks, so please I«d really appreciate if you could inform me about suppliers of this optical glass.
I«m interested in glass fairs but I don«t know which one is the best for me to find this kind of suppliers, Prague, Vitrum in Milano, Finland.
Please inform me as soon as possible because it«s a very important subject for me.

In the article, it stated that "imports to Brazil from the US are no longer subject to antidumping"
1. What is the reason of not subject to antidumping?
2. Does it mean that, ALL THE TIME, imports of soda ash from US to Brazil are subject to antidumping?
3. Is it because the US prices (of soda ash) are very low, therefore, it subject to antidumping of Brazil?

We need to drill holes in float glass plates of approx.1mm thickness with a diameter between 5mm and 50mm. There must not be any cracks in the edges of more than 0.2mm. For that purpose we have to glue together the plates (20 plates together).
